868 Twin Wire Mesh Fencing

SK Weldedmesh manufactures 868 twin wire mesh fencing (double wire fence) for industrial plants, highways and road medians, logistics parks, schools, sports grounds, construction sites and housing projects across India. An 8 mm horizontal wire is welded on each side of every 6 mm vertical wire, giving a flat, rigid panel that does not bend or warp and needs no V-folds for stiffness.

Why Choose 868 Twin Wire Mesh

Rigid twin wire panel

Rigid and Flat

The twin horizontal wires make the panel very stiff, so it installs flat without V-bends and suits long straight runs and ball-stop fencing.

Strong fence

Tamper Resistant

8 mm wires and anti-tamper clamps resist bending, cutting and crowd pressure better than single-wire panels.

Clean fence appearance

Clean Appearance

Flat panels with no folds, ideal for corporate campuses and public buildings.

Powder coated fence

Long Life

Galvanised plus powder coated panels last 15 years or more outdoors with no maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does “868” mean?

The wire sizes in order: 8 mm horizontal, 6 mm vertical, 8 mm horizontal. The two 8 mm wires are welded either side of the vertical wire, which is why it is called twin wire or double wire fencing. The lighter version is 656 (6 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm).

868 twin wire or 3D panel: which should I choose?

3D panel fencing (single 4 to 5 mm wire with V-folds) is lighter and cheaper and suits most boundaries. 868 twin wire is chosen where rigidity, impact resistance or a flat look matters, or where the tender specifies double-wire fencing. For anti-climb and anti-cut security, use 358 mesh.

What is the lead time?

Standard sizes in green or black ship within 2 to 3 weeks from order confirmation; project quantities are scheduled against the site programme.

Do you supply test certificates?

Yes. Mill test certificates for the wire, galvanising and coating-thickness reports from our in-house lab, and third-party test reports from NABL-accredited laboratories on request.

Can you match a tender specification?

Yes. Send the BOQ or specification and we will quote line by line, including posts, gates, foundations and installation drawings.

Do you export twin wire fencing?

Yes. We supply 868 and 656 panels to Europe, the Middle East and Africa in container loads, with EN 10223-7 documentation.
