Solar Park Fencing

SK Weldedmesh supplies perimeter fencing for solar parks, substations and wind farms across India: 3D welded mesh panels for long, economical boundaries, 868 twin wire where a heavier flat panel is specified, and 358 anti-climb mesh for inverter stations, control rooms and theft-prone sections. Powder coated mesh has no scrap value, so it stays on the fence in remote locations where chain link and barbed wire disappear.

Solar Park Fencing Specification

Park boundary (long runs) 3D welded mesh panel, 2.0 to 2.4 m, 4 or 5 mm wire, 2500 mm panels
Inverter / transformer yards and control rooms 358 anti-climb mesh 2.4 m with concertina topping
Substations and switchyards 868 twin wire or 358 mesh, 2.4 m, with gates
Cattle and wildlife control 3D panel 1.8 to 2.0 m with buried mesh skirt where required
Posts 60 × 60 mm RHS at 2.5 m centres, concrete foundations or base plates
Coating Galvanised + polyester powder coat, minimum 80 microns, IS 13871; RAL 6005 green or RAL 7016 grey
Standards EN 10223-7, BS 1722-14; mesh to IS 4948

3D welded mesh perimeter fence

Send the plot drawing or boundary length and we will quote panels, posts, gates and foundations per running metre.

Why Solar Developers Choose Welded Mesh

Powder coated mesh has no scrap value

Theft Resistant

No resale value for powder coated mesh; chain link and barbed wire are stripped from remote sites.

3D mesh fence

Low Cost per Metre

Light 4 mm panels with V-folds give a rigid fence at the lowest cost for long boundaries.

3D panel close-up

See-Through

Security staff and cameras see across the park; vegetation does not hide intruders.

Fence in open country

Wildlife Friendly

Buried skirt and tight bottom rail stop animals; no barbs to injure them.

Anti-tamper clamp

Tamper Resistant

Anti-tamper clamps and bolts on every post.

Fence on uneven ground

Follows Terrain

Panels step across undulating land without gaps.

Frequently Asked Questions

What fence height is used for solar parks?

Most developers specify 2.0 to 2.4 m 3D welded mesh panels for the boundary and 2.4 m anti-climb mesh around inverter and control-room yards. We make to the height in your specification.

Why not chain link or barbed wire?

In remote sites chain link and barbed wire are cut and sold as scrap. Powder coated welded mesh has no scrap value and cannot be rolled up, so it stays in place; it also looks better for lender and ESG audits.

Do you supply test certificates and tender documents?

Yes. Mill test certificates for the wire, galvanising and coating-thickness reports from our in-house lab, third-party NABL test reports on request, and a line-by-line compliance statement against the tender specification.

What is the lead time for project quantities?

Standard panels ship within 2 to 3 weeks of order confirmation; project quantities are scheduled against your site programme and delivered in phases from our Kolkata plant.

Do you install?

We manufacture and supply across India with installation drawings and a bill of materials. Installation is available through our approved partners, or your contractor installs with our drawings and site support.
